Zero Tolerance keeps coming out with fantastic knives. At first, I wasn't too interested in the brand. I bought a 0300 and a 0350 when they came out, but didn't use them often. Then I took the 0300 on a couple of trips and it began to grow on me in spite of it's bulk. Later on came the 0562 and the 0550 (probably my favourite ZT), which I bought to try out Hinderer designs. Somehow a 0200 followed me home, too. Anyway, I began really getting into the brand.
When I saw the 0801 and 0770CF I knew I needed them, but it took months to actually get them into my country. Tonight they're finally in my hands and I've got to say I really, really like them.
The 0770CF is so light that I can carry it in all my pants (my other ZTs are a bit too heavy or thick for some of my thinner trousers) and the blade is quite a bit thinner than my other ZTs. They did a great job with this knife, it fills a niche in the ZT line up.
The 0801 is more along the lines of "traditional" ZTs: a tough titanium framelock flipper. However, it's different enough from the 0300, 0560, 0550, etc. to be worth having. The size is perfect, handle ergos are amazing and the blade shape is very practical. It flips smoothly, too.
Fit and finish on both is quite good, no blemishes that I could see so far.
I know this is old news to you guys in the US, but I've been waiting for these knives for months and my girlfriend just doesn't seem to share my enthusiasm.
