I was new to Busse when I ordered the ZTSH and the photos do not accurately depict the strength, lines and function. I wanted a user knife, but now It seems the ZT series is a collecters grade. I am not an abuser but I would like to camp with the ZT without hurting its collector value. I don't mind reducing the value a little. I would like the forumites thoughts on this. Should I get a standard SH for a user or stay with the ZT?

It has a satin finish and there are some grinder marks in the metal any way, what is another mark or two? Use it, I do:)

If you, like me, are looking for excuses to buy another Busse, that's as good a one as any. On the other hand, you didn't pay any more for the ZTSH than you would for a standard SH, so if you like its weight and feel, why not just use the hell out of it, enjoy it, and look for investment opportunities elsewhere? After all, the performance of the knife was what you were investing in to begin with--I doubt you'll be disappointed there.

All good points, just the input I was looking for.
I have owned many toys which could be considered "collector" and I used them without regard to thier value
Yes, an excuse to buy another Busse. The ZT-SH is different.
I like its swedge, uncoated blade and the thickness is perfect.
Thanks

I would say if you are looking to start a Busse collection that would be a nice piece to start with, but if you like the feel of the knife for usuage, go for it. Every Busse knife begs to be used hard, give her what she wants :)

Personally, I like 0.25" for my users, that wight just seems natural to me with any brand of knife.
