I believe I own a sizable amount of Zero Tolerance knives:

And out of my 302, 303, 350, 121, 200, and 551, my 500 keeps finding its way into my pocket.

First at has a deep carry pocket clip, which non of my other ZT knives have, and I just have the lanyard sticking out of my pocket so I can grab it easier when I need it, even while wearing gloves. People just think I have this pretty lanyard for my keys. O boy are they mistaken.

Although its ergonomics of the handle aren't as good as the 200 or the 551, it is still comfortable to hold and use without me developing any hot spots.

Notice the thumbstud is huge, which, again, makes it easy to deploy even wearing gloves.

The 154CM steel is easier to sharpen than the super steels like S30v or Elmax, and I am not afraid to get this knife dirty.

Don't get me wrong, I still carry my 30x, 200, 551 on occasion, but its a PITA to get dirty, dust, and pocket lint out of the liners and scales. The ZT0500 its a breeze. Just a Q-tip and some canned air.

The ZT0500 I use frequently is a blem, but I also have a mint NIB ZT0500 for collector's sake.

The only real difference I can tell is:
1) The DLC coating is lighter in color than the NIB, but that might just be from use
2) The when you open the blem, it "clicks" when it locks into place. The NIB is silent. Again ,maybe from use. I might have to take apart the blem to oil to pivot and locking mechanism.

Plus the ZT0500 MUDD looks pretty kick ass IMO.

Thanks for looking!

I own the ZT 0200 and it's my favorite knife.
Just to let you know the ZT 0200 has 154CM I just thought I would say this cause you said "The 154CM steel is easier to sharpen than the others which all have S30v or Elmax, "
I know the 300 series has S30V
I don't know about the rest of the ZT's.
Nice collection. ZT's are very good knives.

Thanks! I'll edit that info about the ZT200 having 154CM.

Hey Bishop,
How do you like the Mudd versus the 0200 or 0300?
What are some unique specs about this knife? I am considering getting one but I still want a 0300 as well.
Thanks

The zt0500 is called the MUDD because its designed for use in dirty environments. The pivot and locking mechanism are sealed by urethane bushings so that dirt and grit won't jam the lock up. The 200 and 300 are easier to carry because of the slim profile.

The 200 I would say is a fighting knife. The ergonomics of the handle are great. Flipped and thumbstud deployment. 154cm steel. Great user knife.

300 is a heavy hard use knife. Half a pound of s30v steel with a bomb proof pivot. It's heavy to carry and causes your pocket to sag. I don't carry it that often for that reason.

This the second reference to the ZT0500 I've seen in the past 2 day's, and enough for me to get mine out for a little lovin'! I've always had a very difficult time deciding between the ZT0500 and ZT0200, as to which one I like the best. I finally decided it just depended on which one I had in my pocket at the time.

I just wish I had taken Kershawguy up on the MUDD blems while he had them.

the MUDD definitely looks "kick-ass"! very mechanical looking, compared to the rest of the ZT line-up.
and its a beast of a folder, makes your other ZTs look kind of small by comparisions.

im looking forward to my first ZT come this week, a ZT0200.... hopefully the other trade party doesnt rip me off....
