Am I excited - yes. Why else would I take the time to post about it. It's a major life event for me.

I had a pre-order in somewhere - but that just did not seem to be happening. Checked in on Kershawguy and he said he had one so it worked out.

I repeat - "My ZT0801 is out for delivery - expected delivery 7/25 --- and I am home to take delivery!"

Yip.

Family pic added. A couple Leeks, a Chive and a Ladybug too...

I just love the way the colors of these go together....

Mine was scheduled for today too, but it came early - I got it last night!!
Wow, it's a great knife, immediately bumped to the top of the EDC list!!!

Ah the out for delivery feeling. If like me, you'll look out the window ever time a truck drives by. Then go sit on the porch for a half hour watching traffic. Go back inside and do the window dance some more, and repeat the cycle until it finally arrives. Run inside all giddy. Open the box, check out the knife, open and close it a few hundred times. Put it down, log onto bladeforums.com and try to figure out what you'll buy next.

The eagle has landed. Repeat - the eagle has landed.

Nice hand feel, blade looks dead centered to me, lockup at about 35-40%, flips a little hard right now, ser.1003. Edge looks good - typical for ZT.

Happy dances. Move over 560.

:D x 1000

I'm in the same boat waiting on my first zero tolerance knife. It's a 301 and its supposed to be here tomorrow.

Congratulations. Embrace that hard flipping action. That's the manly Rexford-finger-workout that makes this one really special. I strengthened the detent on my second one, and it feels like my first one did, really strong.

At some point, it'll soften up a little bit with use, but it'll retain that robust flipping action.

Enjoy! It's a really wicked piece.

The blade junkie cycle, you nailed it!
