So, I'm shopping around trying to scratch my new-knife itch, and I come across this:

CF, re-positionable pocket clip, 8Cr13MoV (which I'm generally okay with), manual flipper... I can't find review one of it in english, though. Has anyone handled one? Are there any issues? I hate to buy blind, especially from a manufacturer I have heard little to nothing about. It looks damn good, though.

I own 2 Meyrco Knives but they're older models, and I'm pleased with them

I don't have any experience with some of the newer ones.

You can probably find reviews on YouTube for the one you're interested in.

From what I've seen some models have minor fit and finish issues, but most seem to agree they're worth the price.
I've been sitting on the fence about getting the Meyerco Catch Dog and Shockwave.

I was curious about Meyerco and that model appealed to me, so figured I'd give it a shot.

For the money, its a decent knife. F&F are very good. Smooth opening. The CF does give it a "classy" look.

Only minor complaint I have with it is that the clip is extremely pointy and tends to stick things you don't want it too, but thats a pretty easy fix with some sanding and or pliers.

How's the detent? Does it flip well?

Detent is ok.
IIRC I had to fiddle with it just a tad to get it to flip a little better, but it wasn't bad out of the box (or blister pack in this case) since I tend to add a little wrist action most of the time.

I only have one knife from that company, a DR Bali and it's actually pretty decent. It's got 8 phosphor bronze bushings, and f&f are good.

None of that is probably very useful, but I'd buy from them again so long as I wasn't expecting excellent quality. By excellent I mean at the level of your average Benchmade, Spyderco or ZT.

I bought one of these EDC's a few months ago.

It has fit and finish issues with the carbon fiber handle on the right side. It doesn't line-up with the bolster perfectly, just enough of a gap to annoy my thumb when pulling it back on the top of the handle.

The flipper action does require some wrist movement to get it going. I haven't really adjusted the pivot yet though..

I mainly bought it because of being able to switch the pocket clip around to tip-up. The pocket clip has a sharp point to it. I haven't carried it much because of this too.

Just bought one to toss in my bag for random beating up tasks that i dont want to use my expensive knives on. For around $30-$40 bucks i dont see the risk being that bad. I always need a random knife i can leave in different places to use for dirty or random tasks that this seems to fit the bill and it wont be a big deal if it breaks.
