It's a mystery to me...I know it's a 2005 knife that's not Dymondwood (WRONG). The sheath is standard leather and I don't have a box. Please educate me. Thanks

I should add that the color of the wood is pretty true in my picture. It isn't at all red.

Color does not have anything to do with the knife being Dymondwood or not. It came in a zillion different colors. It looks like the Heritage Walnut dye color to me. If you look at the scales on edge, a magnifying glass helps. Are there layers? Dymondwood is about 27-29 layers per inch.

Yep, it has layers. I know less than I thought! I have one that's similar, a 2007 Founder's. However, it has lots of red in the "Laminate" scales.

That NS black with the unusual logo right under it is a nice looking 110...I've always liked the logo and think it would work well on a 112.

That's a nice looking collection you have going. What are you storing the 110's in?

I have several dozen of the Plano boxes full of "special" 110's. Well, they're special to me! The box is a: "Plano Elite Small Crankbait Organizer - 3607-06." Plastic parts cabinets work well too--

...back to my original post, it's closer to oak than walnut in color. Would it have been a regular production knife that's "off" in color or a special order or set?

Having stored all your 110's in this way, how do you keep the correct association with boxes and sheaths?

I only have a few dozen boxes, but have all of my knives chronicled on a spreadsheet and all the boxes and slots are numbered.
