Mystery BATAC mags?

Are the scales on the sage/OD G10 BATAC from the Ganzaa standard or mags? There was some debate before any had arrived in sweaty little hog hands, and the conclusion seemed to be they were standard. Comparing to my LE, I suspect they are mags and my incoming Kydex sheath is not going to fit.

Can one of the experts set things straight?

Fell like mags to me.....

1bluedogs ganza BATAC has mags, and I compared it to the ones I have for the show next weekend, same....:cool:
 
the difference on the batacs is very slight. do you have a set of calipers?

in the pic, the g10 scales look a little slimmer, but it could just be the angle.

Darker colors are very slimming. The sage blade is actually .310"! ;)
 
Like thatmguy said, the handle on my OD G10 BATAC is most certainly fatter than a standard Btac - I would agree it is a mag - The fit is real nice. MD
 
damn! im always late to the partie! i got three of the ganzaa batacs and they feel a skosh bigger than my standard batacs!! no one cares what i say anyway! Although i stirred up the pot over in W&C, about the battled with coons!LOL!!!!!!!

what a strange post. you realize this isnt w&c and references are frowned upon? consider editing your post.
 
Is there something in the water lately? First WM then Nohz, now SnT. :confused:

Anyhoo, I am in the middle of turning a BAtac into a handle switcher, I'll put the handles in the caliper and see what I get. :)
 
My handle looks like a Mag but there were posts in the past stating that they were standard. I love the feel and color combo.
