Well it is for me anyway, you guys will probably know what it is right away, but I can't for the life of me find a model number stamped anywhere on it. Odd button/liner type lock, you push the button to unlock the liner lock. What model is this and when were they made? Is it collectible or can I just use it?

Its a Taclite (IIRC)! I dont recall the model number offhand. They were not made very long. Use it or collect it. I use all my discontinued knives :D Plumberdave has a few and he may know more about them. Thats a nice model with the ATS-34 and G-10 handle!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help. I kinda just bought this as a shot in the dark, not knowing what model it was, but figured ATS-34 and G10 in a buck has to be worth $35. Looks like that wasn't too bad for one of these in nice shape after all.

Sounds like you got a sweet deal, congrats on that. Let us know if you use and how you like it, still looking for one, maybe some day. HL

 Nice score! You beat me to it :D

Cool little knives. I dont see the plain edge very often, always semi-serrated and even then, not a whole lot. I think Postfalls is right-people use and collect-ie keep.
