Mystery Grab Bags - So what did you keep?

This grab bag deal was a lot of fun and a unique way to buy our favorite knives. I ventured into the first round by going big (or so I thought) and getting 2 - $500 bags. Not knowing what you could get and spending that kind of cash seemed pretty risky, but after unboxing that first round I wished I had bought 10. I thought about creating a thread asking "If they're crazy enough to do this again, how many bags would you get?" My answer was going to be 10, no doubt about it. However before I could do it, I pulled up the Forum and there it was, Round 2. I sprung at the opportunity but I'll admit, I wussed out and only went for 4 more. Not quite brave enough to go 10 crazy, but I thought 4 was still pretty bold, like hide the credit card statement from your wife bold. After 6 total grab bags and multiple sales and trades later, here's what I have left (best part is I'm only in for these knives at just under $1300 ). For everyone else that got a bag(s), what did you end up keeping? And if they ever did this again, how many bags would you grab? I'd do 10!

Interesting to see you hold onto the MSE's. I would have done the same thing. I have found the MSE to be one of the nicest EDC blades that have ever come out of the shop.

Just kept one.

If would have gotten some of yours ghandi would have kept 3-4.

Probably would do it again, wouldn't be more than 2 tops though.

Ill play a long... I was unfamiliar with Busse a few years ago. I was researching a great all around knife and decided I need an RMD. So I ordered one, it took around 6 months to get to me and I instantly fell in love, a month or so later I got an email for a one day only or weekend only mystery grab bag sale guaranteed XXX, so I said why the hell not.... I got the first grab bag for 250.... Upon getting it I quickly realized I made a dire mistake. I was caught HOOK LINE AND SINKER!!!

I was fortunate enough to be part of the second round and I too ordered 4, hide the bank statement from the wife grab bags.... WELL, they get here tomorrow

I have no clue what I am going to keep so far. But if I had my choice... Or get a chance to trade for: No particular order

and from there I am not sure, I need to fondle as many as I can to see what I like.

Although we all got some great deals on the grab bags, Murphy's law got the better of me. I got an ASH2, a Ratmandu, and a thick Chophouse. I only owned 2 Busse knives before, and of course they were the ASH2 and the Ratmandu. I'm with you though... I hope there is a lot of exchanging here as I like fondling new stuff. Read into that what you will.
