LL bean has had knives made on contract by Schrade almost since they began making knives. Can you describe your knife any better is it a folding or sheath knife. It would seem to be a folder if it has a pouch sheath handle material, size, blade type, tang marking anything would help. If that is the case the only old pattern folding droppoint that comes to mind is the 504 which was a slight droppoint with a wide flat large blade. Bean also has knives made on contract by other companies as well are you sure this is a Schrade pattern. Attached is a picture of a 504 in sawcut made for the Old timer line. It has a lil bandit stud on it which is purchased separately and allows one handed opening. If it is a non folding sheath knife there are numerous droppoint models and that would be another whole matter.. The 504 was only made for a short time, aside from being a folding droppoint the blade style is also the closest Schrade ever made to a sunfish pattern. ( a wide flat spear blade) These were also made for special editions however it would be to lengthy to name them even if I could. Presently Schrade is making the 55 UH which is smaller and has no pouch only a lanyard hole it has a slight downward turn ( not really a droppoint ) and has made some other smaller similar folders with slight downturns including some 2 nd generation knives which was an old ( all stainless steel) line of knives they sold years ago. However the 504 is the only old large folding pattern that comes to mind that would need a full size pouch sheath. This really is a shot in the dark since I am not even sure that your reference is even a Schrade pattern. Oh yes the 507 outback model is a large folding hunter with a slight droppoint. however this is a current knife with thermoplastic rubber handles. So I do not think it was the one you are referring to. In any event which ever it is folding or sheath or whatever the answer to your question of where to find one is EBAY. Sooner or later they all show up there. If this is the wrong knife sorry it was a long shot but enjoy the picture anyway. The 504 was a nice knife and a favorite of mine. LT
