I want me a high quality large pack. I'm up north in the mountains and last time I went hunting it was damn cold in the foothills. I like winter backpacking and would like to do more of it as well(snowshoing with a 1-2 night stay over)That means I need a pretty big pack to fit my massive -20f/-20C sleeping bag and gear.
I'm hoping to find a bag that can haul a big load of meat on a hunt as well as cinch down enough to act as a decent daypack for hiking.
Currently looking at MR Nice 6500 and the Tactiplane. Really not sure whether the NICE frame or internal tactiplane would suit me better.
For Kifaru I'm looking at the EMR2 - Not sure how Id stow a gun in that thing though.
Any opinions are appreciated!
