Mystery Ranch Wet Rib

I have one of the old Dana wet ribs (15yrs old and still A-ok)

its nice---does its job

as with everything--you'll be tempted to over stuff it

Is it easy on and off when taking the pack off? I can't see any release buckles in the MR pictures.

On my phone, and not sure how to post a link. If you click on my profile for threads started, and go back to 2010, I sold a Dana Wetrib on the exchange, and there are a couple of pics still showing. The design looks the same, just a difference in materials..

Edit: Here they are.

It would be nice if MR updates it by changing the fastex to a conventional one instead of the '50/50' type fastex used on the Dana. The only way to describe it is it's one half a fastex buckle on the top side and one half on the bottom.

That's a neat looking rig. Would love to order one, but mystery ranch wants $60 to ship one to Canada...:grumpy:

Thanks for the replies. I went ahead and ordered one. I'm going to rig up some type of shoulder strap for use when I want to scout around without my main pack. Looks like a handy piece of kit.

fantastic, hope you post some pics when you get it, this piece of kit peaked my interest when you posted about it a month ago. thank you.

Wow that is a neat way to carry a water bottle and some other stuff if you wanted.

$60 dollars to ship to you that is crazy. If you wanted one let me know and you can have it sent to me and then I could ship it to you 6 shooter. it would be a whole lot less than $60.

LMT66, Let us know what you think of it when you get it.
