A friend is looking for a limited edition spyderco that had a skelotonized blade and handle that originally cost in the $200 range that isn't made anymore. That's all know. Anyone know more? Thanks.

That's gotta be an R, as the Qs were never priced anywhere near that high. Though I don't recall the R's original MSRP either, but the R had to cost more than the Q.

Good luck finding one of those, they're pretty tough to find, and when you do find one, you'll pay for it.

A better bet might be the sprint run R-2. Same basic principle, but the blade isn't skeletonized.

Thanks guys. I got the impression the blade was a little bigger, though. He loved it; it was stolen.

This is off topic, but HJK, how come you haven't fixed the problem with your email? That notification where your user name is has been there for well over a month now.

It would have been the original R, model C67. I don't think it was $200.00 though. It is collectable now and will likely cost over $200.00 to replace.

Lord knows I've tried! I've re-entered and reverified it about a dozen times. I used the email I've had from day one, I've tried a different one using AOL, and I emailed about the problem three times too.
Thanks for caring ;)

Cougar,
thanks for the ride!

Please post about the technical difficulties in the Bladeforums Service & Support forum. Email doesn't get through; Spark gets buried in email.

Scott I beg to politely differ with you on that one. There has been 2 of the rare varieties of Q knives both go for well over $200. My lady friend told me that one of them and I believe it was CASE Co something that even went over $300. There has been an unsually high amount of Q knives on Ebay here lately for some reason  .
