Mystery stamping/casting?

I have never seen that before. Is it raised above the BK coating? It almost looks like someone added it after market.
 
Sheesh, I'm kind of freaking out here, after I read your post I went and ran my hand over it and... it came off. It was some sort of grease smudge that unbelievably had taken the shape of a circle circumscribed around a "P". I should be in Vegas right now! What are the odds? No issues now, just a freak occurrence.
