Hi all,
I'm a new guy, and seem to have been bitten by the bug. I don't have much of a "collection" going yet, but one thing I do have is a bit of a mystery. I bought it in the early '80's I'd guess.
This knife is marked Bench Made by Tak Fukuta. It has an open build with what appears to be titanium handles. Roughly canoe shaped about 4 inches closed. The plain blade has what I can only describe as outrigger thumb studs - that is they are kind of cantilevered off the back of the folded blade / beyond the pivot point. You can thumb the blade open though it's almost easier to use it as a centrifugal opener.. and indeed maybe that's how it was designed. Could have been marketed by Parker or something that caliber.

refers to it as a model TK-670. Sound like the same knife. Looks like no responses then.
If I can, I'll post a photo. Thought I'd put it out there for the historians to contemplate for the time being. It wasn't an expensive knife back then, I'm certain.
Oh and dang you spyderco guys. Now I'm hooked...
