Browsing I came accross a weird looking Seki SOG. It can be found on ebay by looking up "SOG Seki-Japan Fixed Blade Fighting Knife w/Sheath SOG Specialty Knives".
It is described as having a 6.2" blade and 5" handle. The Seller states that he has not been able to identify this model.

My current opinion is that it is a Seal2000 that has been reground, blade shortened, edge removed to the point of serrations being gone, blade coating removed, painted white lines on the handle. Any opinions?

Omg! It's way too fugly to pass as a model resembling anything from the past.
But Seeing all the tell tale features still present in this sorry state of monstrosity,
It sadly, does match and point towards the remains of a once proud and worthy seal2000.
Those double snap straps on the cordura sheath is one outstanding remaining feature.
And who ever grounded off the serrations must have hated them plenty.
It would not surprise me one bit, if it's tip snapped off from countless mindless episodes of frustrating knife throwing practice.

I thought seal 2000 immediately as well. Boy they really messed that thing up.

Yep seal 2000. You can see the powder coat in the SOG logo/letters & the sheath is correct for the s2k. Wouldn't be so bad if the regrind wasn't so poorly done, and they hadn't painted the lines in the handle.
