I should be there on Saturday.
Do you know if I will be able to find a new bali for sale, or does NYC law frown upon them?
I am thinking specifically about getting a BM 42.
My old bali, I won't insult china cheapies by calling it one, recently snapped where the fork joins the solid part of the handle, and I have been going into withdrawl.:( It survived long enough to require a repinning, and was fun while it lasted.

They're frowned upon.:(

One advise for those going: with the current heightened level of security, I wouldn't even recommend carrying anything close to being illegal. Bring a roll of duct tape and some paper towels. This way you can claim you're transporting and not carrying.

The paper towel thing is a good idea. I was just looking at laws and I agree, it is probably better to be well over-cautious.
