Nada.

Yeah, thats not good. Maybe the moral of the story for the rest of us is not to send the box and paperwork. As for the knife, I guess you are right in that you might as well take care of the burr yourself and just use the thing. Still, its frustrating like that with a spendy knife that should be good to go right out of the box. I empathize. But there are plenty of guys laying in the hospital who would trade places with us, right? Rock on.

Certainly true man! I have been telling people for awhile that things could always be worse. I sharpened her up. Stropped it, nice and sharp. When I get the chance I may try taking it apart and fiddling with it, I have nothing to lose now.

Darn, I just sent in a knife last week, and I shipped it in it's original box with the paperwork. I sure hope I get it back, I save all that stuff.

I wish I didn't have to start this thread but I am. I fixed my other P2 from bladeplay. Then I get my other sprint run S35VN back from Spyderco's warranty department ( I sent it in for bladeplay in both directions ). It came back with zero side to side, it still has some up and down still. If this is nothing to worry about I will deal with it. Basically I am just frustrated as Spyderco cashed my check ( I opened the knife and a torx head broke on me, totally my fault ) then they dont send back my original box or paper work, and the "sharpened" it for me leaving a huge burr on it. Oh well.

Call them up and raise hell.
