Almost forgot I had this hidden in the back of the safe. Ordered it through the North American Hunting Club about 15 or 16 years ago. I like it a lot better than most of the NAHC special editions I've seen. I'm real tempted to carry it and use it, but just can't bring myself to put that first scratch on it.
Does anyone else have any NAHC specials? How do they measure up, quality-wise? This one dates to 1997 (3 dots). Quality is right up there. Nice bone scales, and sharp as a razor from the factory!

That's a nice one Glenn! When I can't get past using a knife I have a little ceremony, I carry it as a backup and slowly use it lightly. Seems like before I know it I'm using it as much as others, also I love the serrations on that I'm a fan of serrations and see there value.
Respectfully, Chance.

I have the same Trapper.
It is a well made knife and I do like the smooth burnt bone, but the serrations turn me off nowadays, not to mention the deep etchings on the blades.

That's it. I've thought it over and come to the conclusion that I'm never going to sell it. I can't. It has my initials engraved in it. So, I might as well carry it and use it. I mean, really ... I think they actually look a little better with a bit of honest wear on them anyway.

So, it's officially in the rotation.
(smattering of applause...)
