Picked up a Queen trapper. Really liked everything about it, I'd say a 10/10 in every category, until...... Both blades seemed a little stiff, but not just too bad, I've had worst. Seemed to be more of a combination of the nail nick location plus a little stiffer initial pull than what I'm used to. Didn't seem too bad, but by the end of the day, I realized I didn't have enough fingernail on any finger to open any slipjoints. I feel like an athlete with an injury, I'm day to day as to when I can open any slipjoint. :)

I've gotten pretty adept at putting EZ open notches on my knives where I can. It can make a big difference in pinching them open. Even a shallow one can help access low setting nail nicks.--KV

I collect and use slip joints, but when I’m picking a user, it either needs a light pull or a pinchable blade. My thumbnails are healthy on the weekends, but as the work week dwindles down, so do they.

there are a few members in here who absolutely love nail breakers. my most recent experience was the whalers at the rendezvous. not a huge fan, but at the same time I don't like them too loose. a pull of 2-3 for me typically means going back.

I've never cared for nail breakers myself.
My most carried over the last couple years are a Buck 301, and a SAK Huntsman.
I have a 110 or 112 on my belt every day as well, but they are pinch open.
