Two weeks ago, someone told me you could just use nail polish on the blade as a resist, scribe away your signature on it, and put acid on it to etch your signature. Has anyone else done this? And what acid do you use? I heard that navel jelly works too, and I tried that with limited success. I have Ferric Chloride and I have aluminum/navel jelly (which has phosphoric acid in it). I sort of like the idea of a personalized makers mark signature as opposed to a stamp or stencil etch that is the same every single time.
