Thanks for the tips and information. Perfect form for perfect function.
She is very sweet and I can not wait to take her out and test the new mods. :D

Using the cheap stripper from Lowes was about 2.5 hours and still had to sand the blade down afterwards. The patina was about an 1.5 hours. :D

Looks great.
Next time try the citrus stripper. No sanding. Coating practically falls off.
Great patina. I'm going to have to try it.
Thanks for nice post.

I like how the patina looks. It´s like Nice work. Thanks for sharing. I´m thinking how to make a camo patina.

Looks great!! How long did you let it sit in the vinegar? I tried vinegar once and I'm sure I didn't soak it long enough, but I was sure it was 30 min.

That patina looks great. She's all dressed up so you need to take her out.

I have not done it on a Becker, but you can also use cold gun blue to patina a blade. Gives a nice, even dark color. Wrapping in a cloth as above will give a 'textured' look.

I will give this a try. Were did you get the Citra Strip, Lowes did not have any?

Thanks,

Looks great! I think I might try the inner tube on the handle business when I get a chance.
