Anybody strip their ASH yet? I am interested in seeing what is underneath the coating on mine. In the parts where coating has already worn away it almost looks like DCBB. :eek:
 
There was that CG SFNO that had the same DC-like finish underneath.

I'm going to leave mine. The more it's scratched and banged up looking the better.
 
under the missing parts of the coating of my batac the finish also resembles DC finish and looks interesting.

BARE ASH! Now THAT'S WHAT I'm TALKING about! :D :thumbup:

I have a nekkid SHSHII that looks like a factory satin where the coating has been stripped. Makes sense to me, as this is where the grinder removed material for the flat grind... so... I expect one of my ASHES to be nekkid before it's all over, and it should look like this underneath! :)
