naked BR!!!

ohhh I'm so in love with the naked BR that I don't even want to use it! I hope swamp rat have more of these naked rat ofters soon!

right now my tan Rat is my only work horse. It will probably stay that way for some time...I don't really see how I can put a beauty like the naked BR to use...

Put it to use...you can always fix the finish with wet/dry paper in between adventures.

now upon close inspection of the blade:

ain't the naked BR differetially harden?
how come I don't see any hamon lines on this like the coated ones have under the coating?

this blade is noticably lighter than its coated cousin. Which make it a greater cutter in my book.

great pics, thanks for sharing them with us.

They are differentially hardened just like the regular production models, however, with the satin finish the hamon doesn't show up as well. They are also considerably lighter than the regular models due to the full flat grind.
