I did a 65535 (knife hacker) patented coating removal on my wrong color Izula.
It came out really nice, and it's a great improvement over the original OD coating, now it also has no OD coating to wear off. Pics soon, tease you guys a little first.

You guys are going to love this, I was there and witnessed the stripping process with his special homebrew remover. The knife looks awesome naked, it still has all laser markings present too.

Is that rule the same for the 2nd and 3rd? :D

Really nice pic's. I love the color and finish of the "stripped" Izula. How on earth did you manage to keep the golden-colored numbers and such?

It still looks it has some nice texture to it. Great job.

It is, but considering it requires some pretty heavy chemicals, PM and I can offer this as a low cost service.

Sweet, I'll keep you in mind. Might be a minute before I order an Izula, but I don't expect it to be too long. Again, slick job.

Naked is the way to go on the Izula. I used some of the thick paint stripper. It came off rather easily after about 15 minutes of soaking. The 1095 develops a nice patina on its own.
