Naked, without a Spydie

So, I saw my friend yesterday whom I have given a dragonfly (actually, she took it.) She looked upset. I asked what's matter? "I lost the knife. I looked everywhere. I called home and had my sister search my room. It's gone. First time I haven't had a knife on me since I got that months ago. I feel NAKED!"

Well, what I am to say to a "naked" woman? I figure she be better dressed with a Dellica. "Dellica?" she asked. "Does it it have a hole." "You bet!" I said. So I express ordered a Dellica for her, and a Calypso Jr. for me. Can't go around underdressed, can we?

Ok, at least you did give her your Blue Native....lol! I love my Calypso jr, despite what happened to it. Lite, smooth, and blade is easy to sharpen quickly. Only ONE problem with mine....it is righthanded and NOT lefthanded. I still use it and enjoy it.

It is good to see she enjoys the "HOLE" - smart lady of course.
 
That's why some of us dress with the "layered look," with three or four or seven various sharp objects on our persons, so if we temporarily mislay one of them we will still be decently clothed.

I wish I had a dime for everytime someone called to check on the status of their repair and they said they were naked..(without their knife that is.)
I actually left the house without a knife this morning (gasp!) and felt, well, you know....naked.

You left the house "naked"!? I can't imagine that happening to me. If I forget mine I'll drive back home!

But I guess where you spend your day there are enough knives so you can easily dress.
Of course I keep two knives in a drawer in my office just in case...

I just felt a breeze, I just sent my daily carry back for some work to be done today(non-spydie) and will be "naked" for a few days(well I wear one of my EKs at home, lots of critters an' woods around the house). Imagine if you had to leave all of your knives in one place and go else where for a couple of months and didn't bring one with....
My solution is to buy more, and when reunited with the others, your collection will be bigger.

They sure is...hahaha. BTW, I've been naked now for almost 2 years, I have been carrying around a BM, a Microtech, or a Sebenza for the last 2 years. I just can't find that special one (Spyderco). Any suggestions? I REAL picky. I'd like a Herbst, but the 440C doesn't float my boat. Maybe a Starmate, N E 1 got a picture? Still waiting...-AR
