I stripped my DSF today and wanted to share.

It was very easy, I used a can of spray stripper.

Sprayed it down, came back 20 minutes later and this is what I saw!

About a minute with a nylon bristle brush and rinsing it off...

It was much easier than I thought it would be and I am very happy with the results, the DSF looks really good under that coating! Anyone that's on the fence about stripping their knife GO FOR IT!!!!

Thanks for looking

The green comes off just like the black, easy. Stripped my SAR5 last night as well as a Tanker gray Scrapper 5. Tanker is hard to get loose, three coats, lots of scrubbing.

Wow, that looks great. I'm surprised the finish is so smooth and even under the coating.

After the first time you do it, stripping just becomes natural :D

Looks good David

Here is my SAR5 stripped

Just dimples and grey INFI under there.

what exactly did you use to strip it?

It's paint stripper in a can, gel paint stripper also works very well. And it's okay if the stripper gets on micarta scales, it won't hurt it any.

I think only the LE was Infi
the rest were coated cg SR101
(I could be wrong,as my wife points out daily)

You are looking at two different knives.
I was referring to the SAR5 blade as being INFI, the pic above that one. My Scrapper 5 is SR101 but it had dimples too. ;)
