This is my second Nakiri. :D

Details...

- O1 Steel at around 61 RC hardness
~194 mm Blade (7.5")
~304mm Total Length (12")
~3.1mm spine thickness (1/8")

Black G10 scales with Blue G10 liners
Stainless steel tube rivets
G-Flex Epoxy
User Finish - polished in the right spots

Feels great in the hand! This one has a heavy duty feel with an aggressive thin edge for precision slicing and general kitchen use.

Just let me know if you have any questions! I back all of my work

I like both of these.. Will you do one in 52100?? Or are you on the search for some Super white/blue? Hmmm or some ATS34 on one of these would be sweet.. Hope to see this design come up several times a year, hint hint :D

The next ones will be 52100, I'm happy with O1 but want to focus on 52100.

I'm still debating using another steel in stainless, either AEB-L or CPM154.

I was looking for my link to some Blue and White steels earlier today... :D I doubt I'll use a lot (expensive and comes in odd sizes, has to be imported) but I still like the idea.

I'll be doing more Nakiris for certain, I have always been a big fan of their functionality.

This is an outstanding looking blade! (Sometimes I think I'm the only lefty Aficionado)

Sounds cool! I'd like to hear about it.

I want to try a wooden Saya for one, I need more tools though, lol I tried to cut some Blackwood with a sharp hand saw and it just slid on the surface, I wound up using my rock saw! probably not a good long term solution... I want a porta band like the one you have, the chop saw and hack saw are great but not on wood.

This just went on the Christmas wish list

:D I'll be working on more then I'm sure, I'm having fun with the designs and the Nakiri is a favorite.
