My best regards to you, your family, and those of BirGorkha.

I hope that this time I will be able sit down and talk with you once you are rested and before you go home. Though our meetings were brief, my heart could see that you were a good man.

Thank You again for your repair of my village Chainpuri's wooden scabbard, as I can now use it, and it is one of my favorites. Likewise I still have the 15" sirupati you rehandled in oak not last trip but the one before that.

I bid you peace, and joy. Rusty

I'll pass the message along and thanks, Rusty. Pala is still sleeping so I have just heard from Chokpa. I could tell last night that he had a serious case of jet lag. To add to the misery of the flights he had a five hour layover in Osaka and eight hours in Seattle.

But give him a couple of days and he'll be up and running. Old Gorkhas are hard to keep down.

Osiyo Pala.
Glad you could make it back to visit your family so soon.
I pray your visit is all that you want it to be.
And I wish it was so that we could meet in this lifeline, perhaps it will be so in the next.

"VEGETARIAN".............
Indin word for lousy hunter.

Pakcik Bill --- Pls let Pala knows that I said hello to him! Tell him to have a good rest ... then ... maybe he can tell us stories about Khukuris, Gorkhas, Himalaya, Nepal etc. Maybe some of the new stories could be added to Howard's book!

NEPAL HO!

James Mattis would have said "shalom."

Now I will, for what it's worth.

Please tell Pala that he was a good Jew and man.
