Just to let you good folks know, my username will be changing soon.
Back in 2001 when I created this account I had been spending most of my time in gun forums, and used the "ParaGlock" name on several due to my then-current infatuation with a couple of new firearms. It never fit me well. As most of you have come to know, I'm not a "tactical" guy by any means.
So as I rediscovered my love of blued steel and walnut, traditional knives, and various other "folksy" values, I've decided to sever ties with the "tacticool" name. I've been using some version of "Yosemite Sam" longer than anything, so today I sent a request to the board owners to change my username here. Some day soon I will be showing up as some form of that name.
Likely, no one cares or would notice. In that case, please pardon the "vanity" post. But I have made a few contributions here or there in the forum, and figured I'd give people a heads up that this new person is really "me".
