Name engraved on Sebenza!

There was a post earlier about how it was an option but I havent heard any comments about having it done yet???
 
Here is what I was told by CRK,

"We engrave with block lettering. Generally the engraving is done on the back strap of the handle above the clip/lock as you described. The engraving can be done on the front handle of a plain sebenza. We are not able to engrave the front face of a decorated handle. The engraving does not look like the face of a decorated sebenza. There is no anodizing/coloring process involved with engraving. The cost of engraving is $20.00 per side engraved."


Personally, If the knife is given as a gift I think that engraving it would be an added touch and appropriate. But, I wouldn't have it done on one of my Sebenza's..... Maybe if they went to a different line of fonts or lettering styles.... The block stuff just doesn't do it for me....

Some food for thought. If you ever think you might sell your Sebenza someday (heaven forbid!), an engraved name might actually decrease the value unless of course, someone has the same name as you. But if you plan on keeping it forever, more power to you!
