Name/logo emblem

I want to put on some knives a emblem of myself like they used to do some time ago the old school way, so i took a piece of red copper and stamped my makers mark in it, and than cut out the shape arround it.
Planning to use this somewhere in the wooden/bone handles, what you think?

Looks like an inlay to me. If so then that is very classy, I like it.
