Well, it was fun guessing how frankened my BK710 was; now I have a new contest.
Name My Knife
My thinking is that BK102MagnaOldSchoolButtServerence is a little long.
Let me break that down for you.
BK = Becker Knife (Kinda Obvious, no photo needed)
102 = A BK10 Crewman that was de-hangdown thingy for a guard to that more of a BK2.
Magna = BK5 Magnum Camp Knife due to the choil cutout.
OldSchoolButt = The fact I cut down the butt to follow the contour of the butt like the very first version.
Severence = Because I could not come up with a way to describe the fact I drilled some weight reducing holes in the aft part of the handle to better balance the knife and make it a little blade heavy like the Perserverence.
I also re-profiled the edge, but I do that a lot anyway. I really laid it back so it would fly through the Thanksgiving turkey. Ahhh, but what did I forget to do? TAKE A FREAKIN' PICTURE. I assure you, this thing cut like a scalpel. My wife was initially a little put off by it, but soon saw the beauty in it.
Submit your entries via reply to this post. I want everyone to see everyone elses creativity.
The judges again will be my wife, her overbearing father and myself.

This is a short contest. Entries must be postmarked by Monday night 11:59 p.m. est
All decisions are final.
Have fun.
