very nice

I just cant get myself to pull the trigger on the nano 25-30 bucks seems pricey for it, imo

I love all the new fire stuff.

Blades, fire...fire, blades...blades, guns, fire...chicks, fire, blades, guns...ahhhh, the good life!

excellent, I also have a nanostriker, its pretty decent.....wish it was bigger.
but it works good as a small EDC striker

dont get me wrong,

I think they are very cool looking and if you guys says they really work, I'll end up getting one

but...for 25 bucks I could get 2 firesteel.com gobsparks that I know work very well and will last a long time

just sayin...

I almost got one of the nano's as well, but then I saw the firesteel dot com bunker model and ended up putting that on the old wishlist instead. It's bigger, and if I needed to, I could use it as a deadfall.

Damn, I just totally down this thread

my bad...

I do like the capsules very much and might end of getting one of those before the nano.

carry on

OH I wasn't knocking the nano at all, awesome looking device, and definitely trips my "I want this cause it is awesome looking" switch, and I will prolly get one before long. Unless of course I stumble across one out and about and decide I have to have one then. Really wish they would get the extra storage tubes out for em too.

I got a bunker firesteel it's awesome but I never carry it because it weighs like 17lbs. But If i could only have one firesteel it would be the bunker 1/2x5. I can't ever see wearing this one out unless you were scraping it with running chainsaw.

The Nanostriker is very small ultra lite and perfect for a keychain carry or small kit. The Matchcap is also a great piece of kit. They both seem to be very well built and all the machining very nicely done. While I will agree they are pricey I do believe after handling them they are worth there price.
I'm planing on playing around with them more this weekend while working on this month's project.

Damn, thanks for the reminder. I was talking to Rob the other day about this very subject. He was asking if i thought they would do well. I told him I personally though a small batch would do ok, and I told him I would start a thread to get some feedback. Trouble is I got caught up trying to decide where best to put the thread to get the most accurate feedback and then I got distracted and went on to other things.

...still trying to decide where best to put it...
