Hi hogs, I've been away from home and my blades for so long I can't remember the the forum address ! Now I really know what addiction means !! Three weeks is a long time to be out of it but there have been some great times here in Tokyo. I got lucky last Sunday as there was a Japanese knifemakers Guild Show in Ginza and many of the great names were there. Takeshi Saji is my favourite and I bought nearly all the knives he brought ! I will post pics when I get home. (in the company of Busses of course) While I was here Amy-O gave me word of my Cupid winnings and I had to ask her to hold them for a while, can't allow the Missiz to go collecting my parcels or the welcome home might be a little cold if you know what I mean !! Got a plane to catch, fare thee well hogs......Porkus is taking to the sky ye-haaaa :D

Well as if to prove the point (that I have been away too long) this doofus posted in the for sale section, sorry to all for the inconvenience. Hope the Mods will be lenient !

I like Shinichi Watanabe's kitchen knives, I have three on order. Are you familiar with them and do you know if they were at the show?

I just returned from four months in Japan a month ago, loved it but missed having easy access to my guns, bbq, and mexican food something fierce. The last sushi I had was in the Narita airport, not bad at all.
