Narrow bladed Spyderco?

Just musing about what features I'd like to see on a future Spyderco.

I really like the Centofante 3 mainly because it's the Spyderco I own with the narrowest profile. I also like the Native blade profile because it lacks the hump so common in other Spydercos and that makes it a little narrower. But the Centofante, although a fabulous slicer with that thin blade, is a little thinner than I like for a regular daily carry and the blade on the Native is still kinda wide and shorter than I normally prefer.

I guess what I'd like best would be an Endura, Para 2 or Military without the hump. Does the idea of a Spyderco with a narrow blade profile appeal to anyone else?

Yes. I'm not a fan of the hump, or of broad blades. The challenge would be to get the one handed opening in a narrow blade.

This would appeal to me as well, but the downside would be losing opening hole function, as aesmith mentioned.

Some examples:
Southard Flipper, the upcoming Southard Positron flipper, Slysz Techno, Slysz Bowie, the maybe-upcoming Slysz Swayback, Nilakka, Des Horn, Nirvana

Centofante3 was the first thing that came to mind when I read the title, looks like the OP already has that covered :D

Besides those already suggested, the Chaparral series is narrower than the other leaf bladed Spydercos and I highly recommend it. Caly also but they may be shorter than you'd like. Maybe the 3.5?

Besides the thumbhole humps, the Stretch, and to a lesser extent the Bradley, and Starmate are pretty narrow too.

Last suggestion is the Disco'd Goddard series...Love that blade!

Khem... what about ULIZE?

I have a couple of the Des Horn (with the pivot screw modded for clipless carry) and it is quite narrow. Seriously narrow.

I think the Nilakka might count as narrow also, as well as the Air. These are all my favorite Spyderco models specifically because they do not have broad blades.

The Des Horn is a real beauty but the tip down carry bothers me. I like the Air but the lack of a clip bothers me. Guess I'm hard to please. :)

The Kiwi 4, Des Horn, Bradley Air, Centofante Memory, Native V (not really narrow, but no hump), Autonomy, Southard, and Ulize come to mind.

Dare I even mention this...? The discontinued Benchmade AFCK? A Spyderco by another name.

I recently got a Stretch off the Exchange just to see what all the fuss was about. I'm liking the ergos and longer slim blade and feel like it falls between the Delica and Endura.

But I don't like the hump at the tip.

Indeed, I've already sketched out a few ideas for grinding off the hump. Looks like a stretched Delica blade. Me likey.

Hmmm ... how about a Delica XL - the Stretch handle with an elongated 3.3"~3.5" Delica blade.

I don't "like", or "dislike", the hump, but I flat out "love" the Spyderhole opener.

What I "like" is having the Spyderhole positioned so my thumb finds it easily and can move in a smooth arc, without crabbing or stretching, to open the knife. What I "really like" is a knife where I can do that with either hand, and what I "really, really like" is like a knife that, having done that with either hand, feels comfortable in my hand. To date, all the Spydercos that get the highest marks from me in that regard have humps, and I can't see how any of them could do that without the hump.

The Stretch and UKPK "drop point" blades have pretty narrow blade profiles, at least for Spyderco.
Agree, that's why I went for the drop point version of the UKPK, although it's not really what I'd call drop point - especially as the edge actually curves up more than the leaf blade. I narrowed mine a little, taking that sort of secondary hump off to leave more of a smooth curve from the main hump to the point.
