Does anyone know if and when the NASA knife will be available to the public ? I've been waiting for this one.

The last that I heard was that the knife was not going to be made publically available. I look for somebody to tell me different.

Regards,

Ed

I'm not sure if it is or not.

Word at one time was that it would be released to the public, however, it would not have the NASA logo as they are rather sensitive about that kind of thing.

I have one on order, but I'm not sure if I'll ever see it.

I think the closest you can get right now is the SOCFK in spearpoint. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hey John, are you a fan of Biohazard? the band from Brooklyn?

Just curious,
Reed

From my understanding, the NASA knife is a SpecwarB knife with a hook ground into the front of the blade for opening vacuum sealed packages; which would mean that the SpecwarB is the "closest" available model.

There is a cool video on the EKI website showing an astronaut using the knife to slice some sort of mean product.

Not to sure John is, but me, yep...

It just happens to be the symbol of Steve Ryan custom knives too...

Just couldn't sleep so i ended up here, again... :)

John: been busy lately? don't work too much... :)

Actually, that's the logo from the cover of the "Hagakure", "The book of the Samurai" written by Yamamoto Tsunetomo in 1716. I've never heard anything by "Biohazard", but I have a pretty wide taste in music. :D Ask Derek
Quote Derek driving to dinner in Atlanta:
"I don't know what scares me more . . . the fact that you listen to this music or the fact that you actually own it on CD

Jonas, they've been beatin' me ta death man. I've got twenty-two hours OT this week and we're only three days into the pay period . . . and I have a cold that's kickin my butt. :D But you know I dig it.
