nasal sebum?

I have a question about whether or not nasal sebum is something you guys ever put on your blades when you carry them and if it is effective/Good to do? Or is that a last resort in the field? I haven't purchased anything yet to oil my blades and I read you could use nasal sebum but I feel like I could be just rubbing sweat and dirt on my blade which obviously can't be good. Thanks for any input

I've heard of some of the guys in the traditional forum doing it for years, go ahead. Personally I'd drop $20 on a bottle of frog lube or just some food grade mineral oil, the thought of using a blade with nose oil on my food...just a little weird to me haha. :)

Try searching I've seen threads about it before. If I remember correctly it's good for cleaning residues off but the salt in it will cause rust issues.

Thank you for the suggestions. I didn't think nasal sebum was the best way to go but was just curious if it was effective in the mean time
