Nascar knives?

I just got hold of this Matco Tools rusty Wallace 110 and it occured to me that it's the only "Nascar" 110 (or any Buck) that I've run across.

Does anyone know of any others?

I almost bid relentlously on one of those for my Fathers Day present from the wife. Ended up spending the cash on BCCI lifetime instead-couldnt afford both:( It is the only Rusty Buck I have ever seen:thumbup: Did it come with the display case? I see a lot of rod matco Bucks, I think the only other Nascar I've ever seen was Iron Head.(of course not Mstco)

It came with the case and it has all the paperwork and the red, Matco Tools sleeve. It even has the orignal credit card receipt for when it was purchased on 04/27/98 for $127.15 from a Matco dealer. I got it delivered for under $60. So much for the idea of knife collecting as an investment! ;)

Wow, thats a great price, I watched the one go for $76 plus shipping IIRC. Which I still think is a excellent price.
 
Yeah, it surprised me. There were only two bids on it (including mine) and it ended on a Sunday afternoon. That's not usually a good time for a buyer to get a deal.

I've had the Funny Car version with the case for a long time, but no paperwork with it.

You must be in training to take over ITE's spot as Mr. I stepped out of bed today and fell into a great deal:D

I'll never be able to compete with ITE. He lives in a prime collecting spot with tons of "ex-Buck employee's" to deal with. ;)

Besides which, I never go to swap meets or garage sales. :)

Fritz, I told you before it's NOT that easy... I don't just fall out of bed and find great deals... And I'm not trying to compete with Pdave or anyone... I'm sorry you feel that way... Dave is a good man and has money and I don't... I'm sure he worked hard for it... I just live in the San Diego area and talk to lots of people and make lots of calls that go no where and drive far and all over the place... Yes, some times I get a good deal and some sweet knives and most of the time I get nothing for all my time and gas money and so on... You should move to San Diego and see how hard it is to find knives... I buy knives off the bay just like you and Pdave and everyone else... I go to gun and knife shows, swap meets, estate sales, auctions, a few yard sales, It's not free and it's not easy... It's like gold, it's everywhere, but if you don't look for it you'll never find it... No one has ever gave me a knife... But my family for my B-day and Christmas... and were talking like 4 or 5 knives... I buy every knife I get... Some times I get Great deals on knives and sometimes I pay top dollar... I pay what ever they want for there knives or knife... Some time I have to buy a whole collection of knives, just too get a few knives that I want... I don't have to buy them... I choose too... I really hope you find lots of great knives and good deals out there... I'll be first in line to check them out... Good Luck Hunting because it's not easy... ITE

I am very sorry Armand, I didnt mean to sound the way I evidently did. I think it is great that you are able to find such good finds and add to what seems like a great collection I know you have worked very hard at attaining them. I am certianly envious, but in a good way. I just like to joke around but please know that it would never be meant in a mean way to you or anyone else on the forum. Keep on finding them and posting the great pics, I and everone else love to see them:thumbup: Again my apologies for any misunderstanding.

Two other Buck NASCAR knives are:
1987, #112 Ford Nascar Racers - Birds of NASCAR, Gold etch blade
1993, #110 NASCAR Busch Clash, Electroetch blade

I do not have pictures but the knives do exist. Hope that helps.
 
So then, Rusty is the only driver featured? Wow, wish I wouldnt have given up on that one in June:(:o:confused::grumpy::mad::thumbdn::barf: I think thats all the smilies that I can use, the green guy applied to myself in this case but I wont use it:p
