My motoracing diatribe [ or Cherokee tribe ,your call ] for tomorrow .

After watching the ho-hum qualifying , I was amazed at the speeds today during practice laps ! Looked like everything was backwards according to the times . Almost everyone took giant steps toward the rear . I've seen a lot of sandbagging in my life but does this seem like an epidemic to you ? Kerry was faster than his brother ? WOW !
Can any of you younger,nimble brains 'splain this ,Lucy ?
I'm on the road again this coming weekend & won't belabor you. One of the high points'll be Carolina bar-be-que ! Mustard based Q in Florence & vinegar based in Wilmington. Makes this old man smile . If I can find dry ice I'm gonna' buy up a few #'s for friends & neighbors . These crackers haven't a clue about "Q" !
If I don't hear from anyone before I leave , adios muchasos ! Hasty lumbago too.

I think you hit the nail on the head, Alan, they are indeed sandbagging.

Jarrett and teammate E Sadler didn't even participate in final practice, and most of the analysts agreed; they are saving the best for tomorrow.

We'll be rooting for both Earnhardts.
