Nasty blasty from the pasty

Found this guy in my shop, the original grind on it was crud as it was forged ground and HT'd in 2008 LOL. Learned alot since then so I took it to the grinder in between heats on some orders, looks much better. I think it's 1084.....Got a nice piece of antler for it, going to get a S guard or a C guard with some ball ends not sure yet. Let me know what you think

Cool bit of nostalgia you got there! How big is it? With that classic shape i think a carved hilt with a D guard would be cool. Unless it is something like only 5" long, then a D guard would look silly, i vote for an S guard in that case.

Is that a clip or a shadow in the picture? Looks good either way though.
