Nasty cut.

I guess I got overly excited while touching the blade of a pacific salt serrated, I pretty much did a number on my thumb, however its been 6 days now and the cut still hasn't healed, I mean there is newly developed skin on top of the cut but its just a bump of skin, I can still feel the cut under it, if I tried I can rip it open again with ease, is this normal with SE Cuts ? How long would something like this take to heal ?

Did you go have it looked at? If not, you should. Most cuts should start to knit back together within a day or two - if this one isn't, it needs to be butterfly'd or stitched.

Yup. The little ones bug me most - I hate bandaids on fingers, so I try to avoid having to put one on . . . then two days later the cut's a little bit infected, and it drives me nuts every time even a little breeze hits it. :grumpy: Then it's several days with neosporin & bandaids anyway. You'd think I'd learn.
