Nasty little trickseys...

Hey, everybody,

I was tinkering around in my shop this last weekend, and worked up a nasty little pair of blades from some damascus scrap. I think I'll secure them to a ring or something. They'll make a vicious swiping weapon, almost like Tiger Claws or Nekode.

Anyway, it got me thinking...what other sorts of nasty little blades are floating around out there...I remember seeing someone out there making a razor ring, and I've seen some of the little stabbers that folks make for neck knives, but what else? I'm not picky, they don't have to be legal, or even sensible. Tell me about your "Low-down Dirty Trick" blades! Pictures are encouraged!!!!

I'll post mine a little later on, when they look a little better...

I've heard of razor rings designed to open packing straps. A little hook attached to a ring.

I bought this little nasty from the Edge Co.catalog about 14 years ago.The blade material is 3/16" 440c.It originally had some ivory colored plasticscales that started to crack so I replaced them with carbon fiber.I guess it`s a type of kerambit.I slide my middle finger through the ring and let the cutting edge protrude from below my fist.I`ve been thinking about getting a kydex neck sheath made for it but can`t figure out how to design one that would result in the below the fist grip I described from the draw.

Now that is one WICKED f**king blade. Just looking at it gives me goosebumps, I can just imagine what the sheeple would think.

Wow, sweet blade! I like it. I think that it would not be a good knife to use around crowds though.
Anybody know if any o' these are still floating around?,
Matt

Nasty one, mate! Great start!

I'm currently working on designing a sort of vambrace-claw. Been drawing that up all evening! Essentially, I'm looking at it working like a giant pocket-knife, only attached to my forearm, and working in use like Wolverine's claws or the Predator's blades. My wife looks at my draftings, rolls her eyes, and asks, "What are you going to do with THAT thing?" And I say, "Sell it to a movie..."

Most of the real fun is the designing of these little nasties...I've come up with a few designs for canes that, while absolutely illegal, would be perfect for the 007 set...

There's gotta be a market for this stuff...SOMEWHERE...riiiiiiiight...

Keep 'em coming!

That is definitely a tempestuous looking little talon. Good call with the carbon fiber replacement scales. I'd buy one myself if they were still around.
