Natchez Bowie stuck in SecureX sheath!

I recently received a Cold Steel Natchez Bowie which arrived in it's 'SecureX' sheath. The problem is I can't remove it from the sheath! I'm a 225lb 6'2" man and I've been pulling on the knife for about an hour, so hard and with such force that I was afraid that if it did budge I'd accidentally cut my hand or worse.
Does anyone have a Natchez bowie w/ this sheath ? Am I missing something in terms of how to actually remove the knife, maybe some release trick ?

Put some lube down there :)

Spray some wd-40 down the mouth of the sheath and give it a tug

Our natchez bowie was very hard to get out of the sheath when we first got it but you could get it out. After several times it got better.
 
I did it! Had to insert a guitar pick on either side of the knife guard between the guard flat and the sheath sheath- a snug pull and it came pooping out like a wine cork!
The Natchez is actually a nice knife for what it is, sharp as hell and with a nice balance. But the SecurEX sheath is, well it's…I think Wako-san said it best..didn't he ?
 
I'm going to keep this knife if I can find a reasonably priced leather sheath for it. I wrote to a number of makers, am awaiting replies, the Natchez is an impressive knife and I picked this one up at a steal. If I do find a leather sheath for it I'll post pictures.
