I built this one to a customer's specs. It has a 9 1/4" blade of W2 & 14" OAL. The handle is blackwood. I would like to thank John White for his help with the differential H/T and finishing techniques for the hamon and Don Hanson for the steel.

Fantastic, Gary.........wouldn't mind one like that myself.

Great looking knife! I bet Jim Bowie himself would trade for that one.... Love the hamon.

Thanks everyone.

John--I credit the hamon to your techniques. Thanks for all of the help.

That's wicked! Love the belly of that blade and the long clip. Was the CS Natchez the inspiration for it? I see some similarities...

The customer had seen pictures of the Cold Steel knife and asked for something similiar. I took a few liberties on my own.

I have the CS Natchez and I must say, you certainly raised the model to new artistic heights there. I particularly like what you did with the handle. The one in the original could use some improvement there and you nailed it.
