Because why not. Its high time I gave a little something back to the community here, and this is as good a day as any.

No rules, just be a regular poster here and say I'm in, or post a pic or tell a cool knife story. Its knife day!

This is a Case TrapperNut with the Case Collectors Club shield, Tru Sharp blades and a purty blue jigged bone. Its still in newish condition and a pretty well put together knife. (Not a dent in the bolster in the first pic, light trickery)

I'll let this run until, let's say next Friday, the 31st. As usual, random number generator picks the winner. Good luck friends!

Okay. Okay. Okay.

I've resisted GAWs as much as possible. This one twists my arm just a bit too much. I gave away my only TrapperNut a while back because of Case's inability to dye covers. That blue is ridiculously good, though.

As a lover of all knives small, and a particular fiend for Case Peanuts, please accept my entrance into this wonderful GAW. In other words, I'M IN!

I'm in, cool knife story,
So this past weekend I painted my truck with truck bed liner, while in the process I also replaced my front bumper. After removing the bumper and looking to tuck the fog light wires out of the way, I found my CRKT minimalist. I had lost it one year and 2 months ago while replacing a fan clutch! I have no idea how in all this time, having driven on pot holed dirt roads, bit of mud'n here and there, and general driving, it hadn't fell out of that opening:eek:
Just caus I know someone will probably ask, paint job turned out pretty decent

If JTB had not already nominated me I certainly would have been in. I have long wanted to try out a peanut. Thank you for the opportunity. My daughter actually has a peanut that was gifted to her by another generous soul on this forum somewhat over a year or so back, but I don't. Her peanut isn't very sharp and she is only allowed to use it under very close supervision, but it is hers and she is very fond of it. Here is a picture of her reaction when she got her first knife:

Not an entry for me since I was a recent winner, but I did want to comment. Fist of all, that is a great GAW! Second, I didn’t know that knife pattern existed and have an open window looking at examples right now:rolleyes:
