My favorite pocket carry schrade - but these seem too nice to carry:

Those are lovely examples of a very nice pattern. I have a friend who is an avid big game hunter and also a guide. He does use other knives, of course, but a 5OT is his main knife. He field dresses, skins and butchers over 100 big game animals a year. When in the field for deer and antelope, the little knife is all he uses until back home. Nobody I know splits the pelvic arch on big game anyway. And until the animal is in a place out of the dirt, its a bad idea to split the sternum. I always use the biggest knife I have around for that job. Anyway, your #5's are super!

Those are nice knives! I have the wood handled one, but didn't even know the stag handled version existed! Gonna have to keep an eye out now. Thanks for the info!

Nice! I see a delrin offering quite often too. I'm holding out for the stag one: extra nice.

I don't think I've ever seen the wooden one before so thanks for posting it as well.

i got lucky, it was before people discovered that H. Williams was again selling knives on ebay, to obtain one of HW's 5OT's. i love it. feels so good in the hand and the handle is about the same thickness as yours. both of yours at very nice. thanks for sharing.
