Who else is excited about this one? Any news on release date?

S110V, bushing pivot...Couldn't help myself. Pre-ordered from KC this morning.

I have the Forum Native 5 and it sits comfortably in a Spyderpac and honestly haven't played with it due to having 2 other G-10 Native 5's so I'm not familiar with its construction. Does it, or any other Native 5, (fluted Ti) have a bushing pivot? Or is this the first?
 
I'm in the wait list. The good people at SFO didn't know when the cf native 5 is coming out, but they speculated that it won't be until next year.
 
When ordering, do they charge your card now or when they actually get it in stock?

I preordered one from KC, so yes, defintely interested. I'm still waiting for the standard N5 to come back into stock. The waiting really is the hardest jpart. :D

Depends on where you order from, but most places won't charge your card until the knife ships, places like Knife Center, Cutlery Shoppe, etc.

I've done pre-orders from KnifeCenter in the past and IIRC my CC wasn't charged until the order was fulfilled.

Here's the quote from KC's site.
"Implementation of a new Bushing Pivot System on the Native5 improves the blade's open/close fluidity while the folder itself is constructed with larger-sized torx screws for simple adjustments and tightening"
I'm speculating here but it will have a bushing pivot like the PM2.

I am thinking the same thing - it may be similar to the PM2's pivot. To be accurate, though, the PM2 has a "bushed pivot" or "stepped pivot" This design uses a two-piece pivot rather than a separate bushing.

To be honest I'd like to see a simple bushed pivot like CRK's but either way it's good to see the Native 5 evolve. :thumbup:
 
I am patiently waiting for S110V CF Native5. i do not think that this knife will kick-out Forum Native out of my pocket. I love dark green g10 and do not care much for CF, unless it is the same like on Dodo or Taiwanese models.
