See this knife is on sale at $170. Is it a good buy? How does it feel and look like? I recently bought a fluted military and really like the handle. Owners mind share your thoughts please? Or should I buy the fluted cf which is $45 more?

I don't own one, but I did just pull the trigger on one myself. At 170 I couldnt resist, and yes, I think it's a great buy. I've had 2 native 5s thus far and they are awesome knives. Compact yet very sturdy and capable. Ergos are very nice too.

The Fluted Ti is the most beautiful Spyderco I own. The bright titanium finish is pretty unique and it’s a comfortable smaller knife for large or extra large hands. It is heavy for a small knife and maybe twice the weight of a Native LW.

I purchased a fluted ti Native an couple of years ago and ended up returning it. As I remember the handle was too shiny and a little smooth feeling for my taste. I recently purchased the fluted ti Military and love it (ended up getting a second one). The Military has more of a mat finish and to me feels more textured in hand.

Absolutely love mine. Native is a great knife, and this one is especially gorgeous (yet still sturdy.) At this price, I'd say it's a must buy.

I ordered one today. I love the Native and I just could not resist at the low price. It will be worth much more in a short time.

I think it is a steal at that price. The contouring is really nice. I have had one for two years and love it. I think it is my best looking Spydie.

The Fluted CF looks like a good deal too. It is lighter weight and comes with S90V. I hope to pick one up eventually.

I think it's a great buy. I was given one, but I'd buy it at $170 if I didn't have one. Heck, I still might if they last till after Christmas a while. It's a beautiful and highly functional knife. I enjoy it every time I carry, hold, and use it.

I am definitely interested in the fluted CF also though. The steel upgrade is considerable. I think if I do get one it will likely be the fluted CF.

Depends on what you like but that's a great price. I had the fluted titanium Native 5 and ended up giving it to my dad. I didn't like the shininess or the weight in the handle.
Now I have the fluted carbon fiber Native 5. Without liners it's lightweight and has a neutral balance. It's my favorite Native 5.

Love mine, I got it second hand off the exchange. Super solid little knife and even if you don't use it it's a looker.
