FYI, both of these knives are currently "in stock" at nationalknives.com. They appear to have 4 of each remaining in stock this morning.

The Native 5 G-10 has been out of stock every where that I've looked for some time, so I was very happy to find one at "regular" price this morning. I'm not a fan of the new Manix 2 with S110V (just based on the look of it), but I know many are trying to get their hands on one ASAP.

Manix for sure but I am biased and that is is one of my favorite knives. My blue translucent has followed me though miles and miles of backcountry woods so yea...manix 2 baby! Can't wait to get my hands on the new S110v but for now my wallet is too tight so it's on the back burner.

I love my Manix 2 G-10. It is just a knife that (IMO) is supposed to have some "heft" to it. I just can't marry "Manix 2" and "lightweight" in my mind, but that S110V blade keeps tugging at me!

It's freaking nice. I'll just say that.

I've taken every opportunity to use mine and it still has almost the exact same spyderco pretty-freaking-sharp edge. When the time comes, I'll probably send it to Big Chris and have him work his magic. He makes my wicked edge reprofiling seem butter knife dull by comparison.

I will add this as well...BD1 is on of my favorite steel but I have never had the pleasure of using S110v. I wonder if I will find I like it even more or less.

This is exactly where I'm at on this. Loooove my Manix 2 G-10.
